Armidale’s Back Track program has been nationally recognised for its work in crime prevention and community safety.
The youth organisation helps troubled teens across the region- providing them with education and training in the hopes of getting them into full-time employment.
Back Track founder Bernie Shakesaft was presented with a gold award at the Australian Crime and Violence Prevention Awards, one of only four handed out in Australia this year.
