Thousands of shoppers keen to fill their Christmas stockings, while raising much-needed funds, turned up for Tamworth’s annual Christmas Fair today.
Visitors travelled from around the region, with plenty of shopping delights on offer.
All funds raised go to the Brain Foundation which helps fund vital neuro-research.
“In my case my father died of a brain tumour so many of us actually understand how it affects families. But on top of that it’s also about raising money for research, and without the research there is no cure.”
Now in its 12th year, organisers hope to top last year’s fundraising efforts of $15,000.
