Tamworth’s Scully Park could potentially play host to the NRL once more, this season.
The New Zealand Warriors are in talks to return to the city, after undertaking pre-season training at Scully Park in May.
It’s understood the Wests Entertainment Group has received an offer to host a match between the Warriors and Newcastle Knights in August.
An alternative game against the Parramatta Eels in September is also on the cards.
