A man will face court after assaulting a police officer on the mid north coast on Sunday afternoon.
Police were called to a domestic incident at Harrington around 1 o’clock, but the offender had already run off when they arrived.
They later found the 38-year-old man, before he allegedly lunged at a female officer, grabbing her by the throat.
He was arrested and refused bail to appear at Port Macquarie Court at a yet to be determined date.
