Beaches around the Far North Coast may have been calm today, but we’re being warned that powerful winds and strong surf conditions are on the way.
The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a warning to swimmers, surfers and rock fishers, with swell of up to five-metres a possibility for tomorrow.
“Tomorrow, definitely, the swell picks right up and that, so good chance the beach might be closed over the next few days.”
The strong swell is expected to last until Friday.
