Member for New England, Barnaby Joyce, is calling for better cell reception in his electorate.
Mr Joyce says dead areas like Upper Horton, Merriwa and Yarrowitch should take priority as they’re prone to bushfires.
He’s asking mobile carriers to make use of the Federal Governments 380 million dollar Mobile Black spot program.
182 new mobile stations will be built in regional Australia this month thanks to the program.
