Some relief at the bowser for motorists, with petrol prices dropping to around a dollar a litre in parts of the far north coast.
The United petrol station in Lismore is charging $1.05 for unleaded fuel, but outlets in Ballina are still charging well above the state average.
The NRMA is urging us to shop around before we fill up.
