GAV’S WEATHER | AUTUMN CHILLS ARRIVE

The cold front is moving across the region delivering widespread rain to much of the state.

The speckled cloud formation moving in across South Australia and Western New South Wales is bringing with it the coldest polar air of the season to date.

Storms, isolated heavy downpours, snow and small hailstones have been recorded across the state.

The mercury will plummet tonight, making for a very chilly start to May.

The rain band will pass through the night.

Tomorrow skies will become clear, while the winds from the west will be icy.

It’s set to be a very cold start to May.
