Maroons supporters steered clear of the Southport Yacht Club today, for the annual Manly Sea-Eagles NRL reunion.
The event is a chance for those former players who can’t make the larger Sydney-based function to get together.
Even players from the inaugural 1947 side are still making an appearance.
“We’ve just had one chap come in and he’s my god father he’s 94 years old and played in the first team and he’s turned up in a wheelchair and that’s what it’s all about they love the club and they want to be here”
They might not play for Manly anymore, but they still support the team…the entire room is backing the Sea Eagles to take out the premiership.
