$1 MILLION REWARD OFFERED IN COLD CASE MURDER

Police are offering a $1 million reward for information on the cold case murder of Melissa Hunt.

The 22-year-old’s body was found partially submerged near the weir wall of Burrenjim dam near Stockrington on Anzac Day in 1994.

She had suffered severe head injuries.

A coronial inquest was held and her death was referred to the Unsolved Homicide Unit, but it’s now being reinvestigated by detectives attached to Strike Force Circulo.

Police will meet with Ms Hunt’s family at the New South Wales Police Headquarters in Parramatta for a formal announcement later this morning.
