There are six each in Taree and Tuncurry, 2 at Harrington and one each at Old Bar and Tea Gardens.

With officials on high alert, New South Wales Health and Police joined forces today for a pop-up vaccination clinic at Taree’s Omaru Park.

“It’s obviously here and it’s spreading so we want to protect the community,” Manning Great Lakes Police District chief inspector Tony Moodie said.

“I take my advice from NSW Health and they’re telling me to get vaccinated so my advice is get vaccinated.”

Further north, Port Macquarie and Kempsey each have six new cases, there are five in Grafton and one each in Nambucca Heads and Coffs Harbour.
