Central Hunter police are investigating a spate of break and enters following the continued theft of mining equipment at Rutherford.
Police were contacted last week about a break-in at GE mining’s storage site at Rutherford, however following an inspection the company has found more property taken over the past few nights totaling around $1.3-million.
The stolen items include a number of unique survey tools each valued at $400,000.
