CENTRAL COAST CAR CRASH LEAVES 17-YEAR-OLD IN CRITICAL CONDITION

Police are appealing for public assistance after a teenager was critically injured in a car crash on the Central Coast overnight.

Just before 2:30am (Saturday 18 January 2020), emergency services were called to Sparks Road, Halloran, after reports a vehicle was found in bushland.

Police attended and found a Nissan X-trail that had hit a tree about 50m from the roadway.

The driver, a 17-year-old male, was found seriously injured. He was taken to John Hunter where he remains in a critical condition.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and are appealing for anyone with information or dashcam footage to contact Crime Stoppers.
