Interim coach Craig Deans has a monumental challenge ahead of him on Friday night against Sydney FC, with two high profile players battling injury.
The sacking of Ernie Merrick will also mean Deans won’t be able to lead the W-League Jets against Adelaide on Friday afternoon.
