KNIGHTS CONTEMPLATE FIGHTING KADE SNOWDEN CHARGE

Knights prop Kade Snowden could be set for a long stint on the sideline following his shoulder charge that broke the jaw of Cowboys’ hooker Ray Thompson.
Snowden was hit with a grade four charge, he’ll be suspended for seven weeks if he pleads guilty, nine if he fights the charge and loses.
Knights CEO Matt Gidley has released a statement, saying the club believes there is an inconsistency with the gradings and will look at its options to have the charge downgraded.
Newcastle has until midday tomorrow to enter a plea.
