A public hearing WILL be held in Boggabri early next year to discuss the Vickery Coal Mine Extension.
It follows a push from the public and Narrabri Shire Council.
After a meeting between Council and the Independent Planning Commission, a date has been set down for February 4.
The Gunnedah hearing, which was postponed earlier this week, has now been rescheduled for February 5.
