GOOD CORN LIQUOR FUNDRAISER TOMORROW NIGHT

A fundraiser for Gunnedah band Good Corn Liquor is being held at the Albert Hotel tomorrow night.

The band’s lead singer Stu McKenzie was sadly killed in a car crash at Singleton last month.

It also left two other band members, Nick Wright and Ben McCauley, in hospital suffering serious injuries.

The hotel is hoping for a big crowd, with entertainment to kick off at 9 o’clock.

“We’re going to donate all the door money towards the band, we’ve also got auctions and some special things to uh put up for sale and hopefully we can raise a fair bit of money for the boys so they can release their EP.”

Anyone who wants to donate items to be auctioned off is urged to contact the hotel.
