Coffs Harbour’s under 14 years boys basketball team is one game away from a crack at a national title.
The boys had a final training run with coach Blake Kelly on Thursday night ahead of tomorrow’s Country Premier League finals in Sydney.
If they win their opening game they are straight through to Sunday’s grand final and will automatically qualify for the Australian Club Nationals to be played in Newcastle next month.
The side finished second on the ladder, losing just 2 games and by only one point each time this season.
Coffs Harbour’s under 18 boys and girls sides are also in this weekend’s finals, but they will need to win both tomorrow’s games to make Sunday’s grand finals.
