A police officer has been charged over an alleged on-duty assault of a teenager at Byron Bay.
It comes after a Law Enforcement Conduct Commission investigation, prompted by footage of the January 2018 arrest of a 16-year-old boy.
The officer has been charged with common assault, and is is due to face Byron Bay Local Court in December.
