It was a tough weekend for Hunter players, during round two of the WNBL.
Lara McSpadden’s Flames went down to the Flyers, Hannah Young and Alison Ebzery lost back to back games against the Fire, while Katie Rae Ebzery and Maddie Allen’s Lynx fell to Bendigo.
Ebzery was on target early, as Perth established a big lead at quarter time.
Allen displayed typical toughness in defence.
Ebzery ended up with 10 points and five assists, but the Spirit produced a massive second half to win by 12.
