MAN CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED MURDER NEAR GUNNEDAH

A 38-year-old has been charged with attempted murder after he allegedly shot at a man at Carroll near Gunnedah on Thursday.

The man was arrested at a home on Clifton Road at nearby Piallaway on Friday, and taken to Gunnedah Police Station where he was charged.

Police will allege the 38-year-old had fired the gun at a man sitting in his parked car on Phillip Street at around 11 o’clock in the morning.

No one was injured.
