GAV’S WEATHER | COASTAL SHOWERS & STORMS ON THE WAY

Cloud has ridden in on the north west conveyor but sadly there isn’t enough moisture in it to produce a big enough inland rain event that will reach the drought hit areas of the Murray Darling food bowl. It will however reach Queensland.

Currently it’s still cool across the south east with plenty of suns across the local areas warming the afternoon.

A high will move in over the Tasman which is expected to produce showers and possible storms over south-east Queensland and north-east New South Wales as a trough deepens. Unfortunately the high won’t travel far with the rest of Australia to remain dry.

Another fine, comfortable spring day is on the way elsewhere.

Onshore winds for the coast will keep temperatures down but inland areas are expected to warm-up in the coming days.
