EFFORTS TO RECOVER HELICOPTER SUSPENDED DUE TO STRONG WINDS

The search for a helicopter with five people onboard, which crashed off Port Stephens, was suspended today due to strong southerly winds.

Weather permitting, the recovery operation will resume tomorrow.

It’s now 10 days since the Bell UH-1 disappeared from radar screens.
