Coffs Harbour MP, Gurmesh Singh, says the release of the environmental impact statement for the Pacific Highway bypass, is imminent and could come within days.
The report, which examines the tunnel options for the bypass, was due to be released in July.
The original plans for the highway works didn’t include tunnels as had been promised.
An angry backlash from residents forced a government backdown in the lead up to the state elections in March.
