A masterplan draft has been released for upgrades on the Gunnedah saleyards.
Council are recommending a variety of changes including new roofing, the removal of the sheepyards, and technology upgrades.
The sale yards, which turned 100 this year, turned over $16.8-million last year.
Community consultation closes on September 9.
