Mid North Coast Police are investigating a number of suspicious fires in Kempsey.
Over the past year, emergency crews have responded to more than 500 fires in the area.
Detectives will speak with the community over the coming weeks, including at a information session at Kempsey Council Chambers next Tuesday.
