The Avoca star started the heat well, collecting a solid 7.33 on her first wave.
Ultimately, her two-wave total of 11.90 proved enough.
Fellow Central Coast surfer Kirra-Belle Olsson is still to compete, and will hit the water at Manly Beach tomorrow.
