NORTHERN NSW WOMEN ‘IN THE DARK’ ABOUT CANCER RISK

More than two thirds of women in Northern New South Wales think they’re NOT at risk of developing breast cancer, because they have no family history of the disease.

That’s according to a new survey by the Cancer Institute.

The institute says 9 in every 10 women diagnosed DON’T have a family history…

And encourages regular mammograms every two years.
