A 26-year-old man, who escaped police custody earlier this week at Singleton in the Hunter Valley, has been charged.
Police caught up with the man at a hotel in Muswellbrook on Friday evening, when he was taken into custody without incident.
He was charged with a number of outstanding warrants, along with escaping police custody.
A 25-year-old woman, who was also arrested at the hotel, was released without charge.
