More than $800,000 will be invested for footpaths and pedestrian crossings in the Port Macquarie-Hastings region in a bid to improve safety.
The state government funding will allow council to carry out the much needed works including the construction of shared paths at Lakewood, refuges and kerb extensions in Laurieton and improvements to an intersection in Port Macquarie’s CBD.
