Two men will face court on drugs and firearms charges, after police raided homes across the state – including at Merriwa in the Upper Hunter.
At Bundanoon in the state’s Southern Highlands, police seized nine firearms, ammunition, knives, a five kilogram silver bar, MDMA, a mountain bike, and a surfboard.
A 33-year-old man was refused bail and will face Goulburn Local Court on 23 charges.
At Mount Annan, in Sydney’s southwest, 18 firearms, six sets of knuckle dusters, two batons, 15 kilograms of silver bullion bars and $70,000 cash were seized.
Police also took documentation, electronic equipment, prohibited and prescription drugs.
A 65-year-old man was granted strict conditional bail to face Picton Local Court.
Investigations are ongoing.
