Wyong’s proposed ‘China Theme Park’ is back in the spotlight, following allegations the project is being used as a ‘back door’ for permanent Australian residency.
The allegations, in the Newcastle Herald, say the project is being promoted in conjunction with a “Business Talent” visa.
According to the Department of Immigration’s website, the visa is available to any foreigners who’ve been nominated by a government department and have at least one million dollars in venture capital funding to start a business in the country.
