A push-bike rider has been killed in a hit-and-run in the state’s north.
A passing motorist located the body of a 22-year-old man on Wilsons Creek Road, south west of Mullumbimby, just before 1 o’clock on Sunday morning.
Tweed Heads police say the man was riding home from a friends place when he was hit just after midnight.
Detectives are looking for a vehicle that would have significant damage to the front offside and under carriage.
And are urging anyone who was in the area at the time to come forward.
