Paid parking could be on the horizon in Bangalow, Brunswick Head and Mullumbimby, as Byron Shire council again considers the scheme.
Council backed down on paid parking in 2017, following a community led protest.
Now council staff are asking councillors to consider options to help parking officers monitor the shire.
“At this stage the change that is being recommended to make some minor modifications in terms of one and two hours, monitoring that and then look at options in terms of enforcement or compliance.”
