A driver was lucky to walk away with only minor injuries, after their van was crumpled in a three vehicle collision on the M1.
The Tuggerah Rural Fire Brigade responded to the crash at around 6am at Ourimbah.
Traffic was banked up for some time, with all the motorway’s southbound lanes reopened nearly an hour later.
