The Newcastle Northstars are leading the Australian Ice Hockey League after a win against the Perth Wildcats at Warners Bay.
The Northstars came out firing with captain, Robert Malloy putting the puk in the net for his 200th Ice Hockey League point.
Perth took advantage of a Northstars drop in concentration, fighting back to 3-all before Newcastle powered home in the third, for a 5 – 3 win.
