A 21-year-old man has died in a car crash near Cessnock.
Police were called to Lake Road at Elrington at around 12:30am,where they found a Holden utility had crashed into trees.
The driver, and sole occupant of the vehicle, died at the scene.
A report is being prepared for the coroner.
