GAV’S WEATHER: WARM START TO MAY WITH RAIN ON THE WAY

It’s now a better looking cloud band extending across eastern Australia.

It’s shaping into a healthy little rain band expected to move cross the region on Friday.

Tomorrow the front and associated trough will move into central Australia and there it will stall. The complex low will continue to tumble in the Bight.

The prefontal north west winds ahead of a rain bearing front will make for more warm weather with more high over head cloud.

The rain will reach us later in the week.

The warm April weather has rolled into the early days of May. High level cloud will continue to pass over head.

Inland rain will come later in the week pushing through on Friday for most, clearing for a cool weekend.
