A pedestrian has died after being hit by a car at Toronto.
Emergency services were called to Cary Street at about 9pm, where a 45-year-old Teralba man had been hit by a four-wheel-drive while crossing the road.
He was taken to John Hunter Hospital but later died.
The driver of the vehicle was taken to Belmont Hospital for mandatory blood and urine testing.
