Police are appealing for information, after a railway station worker was assaulted in the early hours of yesterday morning.
The 62-year-old man was finishing his shift at Taree Railway Station, when he was approached by four unknown men.
They allegedly attacked him and demanded he give them access to the cash register.
They then fled the scene with a small amount of cash.
The employee was treated at the scene for swelling and bleeding.
