Lismore’s Jesse Smith has been selected to umpire at the Junior Women’s Softball World Championships later this year.
The Assistant Principal from Trinity Catholic College and internationally accredited umpire beat other hopefuls, and is the only Australian selected to officiate.
The championships get underway in the USA in August.
