Putty Road in the Hunter Valley remains closed, as emergency services respond to a crash involving a car and a motorcycle.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area, with the M1 Motorway an alternative.
It comes less than 24-hours after a 50-year-old man lost his life south of Singleton.
He was riding along the New England Highway near Whittingham, when his bike collided with two other cars at around 7:30 in the evening.
The rider died at the scene.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
