Byron Bay businesses worried about their livelihood over the Christmas period have had a win in council this week.
Byron Shire Council has voted to reduce the amount of special event parking from 12 days to seven, in a bid to help keep business flowing in the town.
Visitors will still need special parking permits from the 26th of December through until the 6th of January, and these are available from council.
