Records are tumbling at the Northern Rivers Livestock Exchange – total turnover creeping above $4-million dollars for the first time in history.
It follows a boom in the demand for cattle – the exchange has now sold more than 120,000 head since the start of the financial year.
Cash turnover is also on track to exceed $110-million by the end of June.
