URALLA COWBOY INJURED IN FALL

Uralla Cowboy Chris Lowe has placed second in the Brendon Clark Invitational, despite having his left ear torn off during competition in Newcastle on Saturday night.

Lowe was the final contestant of the evening, and he put in a strong performance despite the injury.

But he came off at the end, falling unconscious.

Paramedics treated him at the scene for his injuries, before taking him to hospital where he underwent surgery to reattach his ear.

It’s the second time Lowe has suffered such an injury.

Mexican bull rider, Gustavo Pedrero took out the PBR event.
