Maitland teacher charged over alleged assault of teenage student

It was a confronting scene caught on camera – now a teacher has been charged over the alleged assault of a student at a high school in Maitland.

The incident unfolded yesterday afternoon and today parents at drop-off have labelled it “appalling”.
