GAV’S WEATHER: CHANGE ON THE WAY

On the satellite the cloud cover across northern Queensland has finally broken up.

Cloud is extending over southern parts of the nation in the south east as another trough causing showers and severe storms, affecting areas north and south of the Murray.

Tomorrow, the monsoon low will finally begin to move offshore. A low pressure trough in the south east will cause more showers and storms over the south east while moving our way.

More hot, dry weather on the way inland as the coastal communities benefit from the cooler onshore winds drawing more humid conditions.

Increased chance of isolated afternoon showers for the greater Hunter and north west as the trough moves in across the region over the weekend.
