A Newcastle restaurant has launched the city’s first menu with only native-Australian dishes.
‘Fifth Element’ in Charlestown will use ingredients delivered from as far as Kakadu, when it opens for dinner tonight.
“We’ll have people that have never tried this food before, experience it, but also those that should have tried it before, learn it and pass it on”
Tempting items on the menu include emu, crocodile and kangaroo.
