MAN CHARGED WITH SCONE MURDER

A man will remain in custody until early next year, after being charged with murder, following the death of a 41-year-old man at Scone in the Upper Hunter.

Jamie Cust appeared in Muswellbrook Local Court today but didn’t apply for bail.

The 20-year-old fronted a police station yesterday – a short time later, officers found the 41-year-old’s body inside a home on Parker Street.

The case will be heard again, in February.
