COMMUNITY VS POLICE IN NAIDOC WEEK FOOTY MATCH

Manning-Great Lakes Police met their match today, when they took on the community in a friendly touch football game to celebrate NAIDOC week.

Police say it’s a fun way to engage with the local aboriginal community.

“It’s a great way to break down barriers getting the police and the community playing together everyone loves sport it’s a good way to connect with each other,” said David Russel, Taree Police Youth Liaison Officer.
